Ms. Edora binti Ahmad is a Senior Federal Counsel at the Contracts and Information Technology Unit, Advisory Division, Attorney General's Chambers. With a wealth of experience in cyber law, she previously served as the Director of the Cyber Legal Integration Division, National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA) where she played a pivotal role in leading the drafting of the Cybersecurity Bill (now known as the Cyber Security Act 2024 [Act 854]). Her expertise extends to Malaysia's proposed accession to the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime, as well as the signing of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime. Ms. Edora is also responsible for the drafting of the Cybercrime Bill, showcasing her significant contributions to shaping Malaysia's legal framework in the area of cyber law, cybersecurity and cybercrime.
