Christina Agoritsa is a University of Athens Law graduate and a graduate of the National School of Public Administration and Local Government. She has been working at the General Secretariat of Equality and Human Rights of the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family since 2008. Her experience lies in policies, actions and projects in the field of gender mainstreaming and gender equality, gender dimension in public policies and especially in decision-making, in central administration and local government. Since 2017, she has been policy officer at the Department of European and International Cooperation, being involved in communication and collaboration with international and EU organizations as well as national and international authorities on gender equality issues. She is also a member of the Council of Europe Gender Equality Commission and the European Institute for Gender Equality Experts' Forum.
