I am Narassem Mbaïdoum, Deputy Director General of Public Health at the Ministry of Health in Chad.
I am a graduate of ENA in Paris, the Institute of Public Health and Epidemiology in Bordeaux, the University of Lorraine, Nancy and the University of N'Djamena;
I'm a public health doctor by training, and I've held positions as Head of Hospital Services, National Coordinator of the ESTHER project, Head of the Expertise France office in Chad, Director of Statistics and the Health Information System, and Director General of Planning, Cooperation and Health Information.
She has spent just over 20 years practising medicine, administering international health projects and managing public health administrations in Chad. This period has also been marked by successful initiatives to scale up, develop partnerships and strengthen the health system. Outside work, I take part in community activities and enjoy music, meditation and sport.
